My 1st Cold December Experience

"The 105th day of My Saudi Life", starting from 9th month of 2006 Gregorian Calendar



The initial reactions of my friends who have seen my photo that I've used on my profile for this blogspot was, "where was that background in that photo of yours taken from?"

Well it was my first experience of cold December here in the land of dates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. That photo of mine was taken with a backdrop of a water fountain at a popular Chinese restaurant (The Yacht) within the area of AL Fanateer Mall.

It was kinda enjoyable malling because for me it was a respite after a day of stressful work. Nonetheless, I savored a sumptuous dinner meal in The Yacht. Although I would say, the totality of that restaurant was not at par with what we have in the Philippines' array of class of Chinese restaurants.

But needless to say, that's my first experience of getting used to what this place can only offer.

Unexpected

"620th day of my Saudi Life", from the 2006 Gregorian Calendar

This day will forever be one of the so many memorable days in my entire life.

For someone who was already in college when Wordstar, Cobol, Internet and the likes have started changing the mode of communication of mankind; and of which lately has evolved into a far more futuristic and stylistic form of expressing oneself's thoughts and emotions, it was really for me "unexpectedly easy" to be able to have my one venue of expressing my coherence of thought and depthness of feelings to anyone.
